Oxford Education Conference
Branding, leaflet design.
Oxford Education Conference, a conference run by Oxford Hub and Oxford University Students’ Union wanted to encourage education focussed debates, with talks from a range of speakers including Lord Adonis previous Minister of State for Education, Sean Coughlan BBC News Education Correspondent and representatives from schools across the country, Teach First and University of Oxford.
To help do this, they wanted a visual identity that would appeal to students, high-profile speakers and organisations. I wanted to create a logo that would represent the value of education but also act as a discussion point. The idea of a school badge both exemplified the value but also clearly demonstrates status, relevant to the Oxford context: Oxford has two world class universities but amongst the lowest GCSE grades in the country.
